Konark is known as the pilgrimage site to the people of Odia. Unfortunately, as the religious sentiment of the people is decreasing, the identity of Konark has been erased from the minds of the people to that extent. Konark is the pillar of pride of the Odia nation, the indestructible proof of Odia industrial talent, the shining example of Odia mental progress and national pride, but very few Utkal children have achieved this till now.
